The Trinity Centre for Literary and Cultural Translation (TCLCT) are delighted to bring you a translation slam, organised with the generous support of the Polish Embassy in Ireland.
Translators Antonia Lloyd-Jones and Siobhán McNamara have been given an excerpt from an essay by Nobel laureate Olga Tokarczuk, 'Ćwiczenia z obcości' (Exercises in Otherness). Having completed their translations independently, they will come together at this event to compare and discuss their work. No specific knowledge of Polish is required to enjoy this event.
