This public engagement and dissemination event organised by Dr Paula Mayock, School of Social Work and Social Policy (TCD) and Dr Branagh O’Shaughnessy (York St John), will present findings from a study examining the lived experience of people with histories of homelessness and substance use disorder, in Ireland.
This half-day event will bring together academic researchers, homelessness organisation representatives, policy stakeholders, practitioners working with homeless adults, and individuals with lived experience to generate discussion and debate about how best to respond to the intersecting problems of homelessness and substance use disorder.
