A new abridged approval process for changes to existing PGT Programmes has been developed as part of the Postgraduate Renewal Programme. The route for amendments to existing programmes is laid out in Appendix 1 of the College’s Programme and Curriculum Design and Approval Policy, and depends on whether they are categorised as minor, moderate or major changes.
Minor and Moderate changes to a PGT programme can be approved at a Programme/School level. Major changes to a PGT programme will now follow a new abridged approval process and must be approved, at the latest, at the last Council meeting of the year in order to take effect in the following academic year.
