What Trinity MOOCs can I take part in?
Irish Lives in War and Revolution (Department of History): March 2016
Trinity has delivered the Irish Lives in War and Revolution MOOC, which has run twice in 2014 and 2015, with over 29,000 learners taking part. A third run is planned for March 2016. The course, Irish Lives in War and Revolution: Exploring Ireland’s History 1912-1923, invited learners to explore the lives of men, women and children living through war and revolution and examined the political and social changes that made modern Ireland. By engaging with original sources, textual, visual and aural, and encountering contradictory viewpoints, participants learn about the contested nature of all history, and the challenges facing historians. Professor Ciaran Brady, Dr Anne Dolan and Dr Ciarán Wallace from Trinity’s School of Histories and Humanities lead the course.
Strategies for Positive Ageing (Center for Research in Ageing): February 2016
A second MOOC is currently in development with Trinity's Center for Research in Ageing. The MOOC is planned for February 2016.
