Current Research
I’m a post-doc researcher working on the impacts of pesticides on bumble bees. I’ll be in Jane Stout’s lab for the next two years, funded by the IRC. My research focusses on co-formulants, which are all the ingredients in a pesticide formulation other than the main (active) ingredient. I’ll be looking at whether they change the toxicity of the pesticide formulation in ways that risk assessment doesn’t capture well. Hopefully this will help us refine how we test pesticides on bees, helping protect valuable pollinators. I’m open to chat or collaborate on anything pesticide/bee related, just drop me a line.
