The TSMJ Research Scholarship 2010

The Trinity Student Medical Journal has established a Scholarship to promote evidence based medicine and to encourage medical research at the undergraduate level. We are looking for enthusiastic students who want to get involved in research and broaden their horizons.
The Scholarship provides €1500 for the student to complete a research project which will run over a minimum of 6 weeks in a Trinity associated laboratory or clinical directorate. As part of their project the student would be expected to write a short report on their work for the TSMJ 2011. Students that have completed 3rd year or 4th year of the 5 year medical degree are eligible to apply.

The deadline for applications is 5 pm, Friday the 19th  February 2010. Completed applications can be sent to tsmj@tcd.ie. The recipient of the scholarship will be informed as soon as possible and we will work with them to organise the research project for the summer of 2010.
