The TCD Association Branch in Libya celebrates its fifteenth anniversary where a group of university teaching staff, Ph.D. and M.Sc. students from the Faculty of Medicine-Tripoli attended this happy occasion. Photographs of Trinity and other Irish views were on display.  The Libyan branch of the TCD Association is based in the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology (www.dmi.ly). Mohamed A. Daw Ph.D. (1992), Professor and Head of DMI and Editor in Chief of Libyan Journal of Medicine (www.ljm.org.ly), greeted the guests and gave a comprehensive illustration on the role of TCD in the world.  Many leading figures in the Libyan Scientific community graduated from Trinity College and have contributed to improving Libyan society in every field, particularly in medicine . Professor Daw emphasized the role of the TCD Association Libyan branch in promoting Libyan students to study in Trinity College Dublin.  He is willing to help facilitate such cooperation with Trinity. Photographs of Trinity and other Irish views were on display at this gathering.
