Trinity College Dublin has a published Information Systems Security Policy which all College users must adhere to.

The Security Policy and its supporting material outlines College security standards as well as advising on practical ways that all members of College can help to protect the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of College information technology resources.

This web site provides information on IT Security Issues including news of any Security Alerts or Virus Outbreaks.

Many IT Security Incidents are reported every year the most numerous of these being Computer Viruses. All users of the College network have a responsibility to ensure that they have taken all possible steps to avoid infection by computer viruses, whether they are using College owned or privately owned machines.
