Welcome to the Faculty of Health Sciences website

Introduction

The Faculty of Health Sciences is one of the five faculties in the University of Dublin, Trinity College. It was the first Faculty of Health Sciences in these islands and this concept is now being followed by other Irish Universities. This interdisciplinary approach offers the potential to educate and train the full range of health care personnel in an integrated Faculty. The current Dean of the Faculty is Professor Colm O'Morain.

Structure

The Faculty of Health Sciences comprises four Schools:

Academic Facilities

Education for students in Health Sciences takes place on the city-centre campus at College Green and in a number of associated Teaching Hospitals and Institutions. There is a Trinity Centre for Health Sciences at each of the two main teaching hospitals - St James's Hospital in the western city and the Adelaide and Meath Hospital, Dublin incorporating the National Children's Hospital (AMNCH) at Tallaght.
