• Interlingual Technologies: in this module, students gain an overview of the range of computer-based tools available to language-specialists today, their evolution over recent years, and the directions in which they are likely to develop in the future.
• Linguistic and Textual Analysis: this module steps students through the key stages of the development of translation studies, equipping them with a solid grounding in the language used in technical descriptions of translations and translation practice in the contemporary discipline.
• Translation Portfolio: through a year-long series of seminars on literary text types and their translation(s), students familiarize themselves with the art and techniques of literary translation.
