On Thursday June 1st the Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities hosted our SciFest@TCPID 2023 student exhibition and awards in association with Abbott Ireland. The event took place for the second year running in the beautiful venue of Regent House in Trinity College Dublin. Seven students proudly displayed their projects at the event.

Permanent contract with AIB for TCPID graduate Sean Byrne
We are thrilled with the news that our graduate Sean Byrne has just received a permanent contract working with AIB. Sean is one of our most recent graduates, having only completed the Certificate in Arts, Science and Inclusive Applied Practice in June 2022. He started a 6 month graduate internship in AIB in August 2022 and has now been offered a permanent contract.

TCPID Graduate Benóg Brady Bates receives a permanent contract with EY
Congratulations to our graduate Benóg Brady Bates who has been offered a permanent contract with EY. Benóg completed the Certificate in Arts, Science and Inclusive Applied Practice in June 2020. He has been working with EY in their Cork office since March 2021, joining the team during the Covid pandemic. Benóg worked online for most of the past year but has recently been able to return to the office.

The TCPID Awarded Growth Fund Investment from Rethink Ireland
The TCPID have been awarded €540,000 in growth capital as they aim to create nationwide opportunities for people with ID to access high-quality programmes, providing real pathways to education and employment. Celebrating 3 Years of SciFest@TCPID
Thursday May 28th 2020 should have been the date of our now annual SciFest@TCPID student exhibition in the Science Gallery in Trinity College Dublin. TCPID Graduate Luke Campion now a permanent employee of EY

Smurfit Kappa has announced a partnership with the Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities (TCPID) as part of its EveryOne inclusion and diversity strategy. TCPID Graduate Mark Hogan - Permanent Contract with EY
One of our recent graduates, Mark Hogan has just been offered a permanent contract working with EY. Mark completed his 2018 student work placement in EY in the EY Global Trade team. He made such a great impression during this time there that he was invited back in June 2018 to complete a Summer internship within the same team. This led to an extension of his contract and most recently to a permanent role. We are all incredibly proud of him!
