Joined Centre for Environmental Humanities as a Research Assistant on the NorFish project in January 2017. Richard completed his Masters in Digital Humanities in Maynooth University in 2016. He has worked on the Letters of 1916 project as well as creating the Concorde40 Archive.

Completed a Master's in Early Modern History at TCD in 2015, and is currently a research assistant for Professor Poul Holm, compiling and organising an extensive digital library for the ERC Advanced Grant project.
Al Matthews

Joined Centre for Environmental Humanities in June 2016 working on the North Atlantic Fisheries: an environmental History 1400-1700 project. Al completed his B.A. (Mod) from Trinity and Research M.Sc. in Pure Mathematics from Trinity in 2005 while recipient of Trinity Award form 2003-2005. Worked in the Financial Services from 2005 to 2016 as a Data Analyst.
Research interests: researching historical environmental data sources through Statistical analysis including computer programming.
Margaret Duff Garvey
PhD Candidate, School of Histories and Humanities, TCDMargaret is a PhD Candidate in the School of Histories and Humanities, Trinity College, Dublin, researching a strategic approach to the history of forestry resource management perspectives at the time of the foundation of the Irish State, particularly social and environmental aspects.
Research Interests: Natural resource management systems, history of forestry and maritime resource use, Irish history, land use, Irish maritime history.

Currently working on research regarding public participation in coastal cultural heritage management and preservation. Worked as a newspaper journalist specialized in culture and arts in South China from 2010 to 2015.
