1st TCD/LSE/CEPR Workshop in Development Economics

The first Workshop in Development Economics, in collaboration with the LSE and the CEPR, and funded by Irish Aid, took place on the 18th and 19th of September in Trinity College Dublin. The workshop featured presentations on numerous topics in development economics including investment, productivity and agriculture with scholars from leading universities and institutions across the globe. Invited keynote speakers were David McKenzie (World Bank) and Imran Rasul (UCL).

The workshop was organised by TIME (Trinity College Dublin), STICERD (London School of Economics) and CEPR and was funded by Irish Aid. The aim of the workshop was to bring together researchers in different fields of development economics to discuss current issues in development. Topics included: agriculture, climate change, conflict, education, firms' organization, finance, gender, health, migration, networks, productivity, public finance, and trade.
