THEATER 05: Der Besuch der alten Dame

35 students, graduates and staff of the Department staged the play 'Der Besuch der alten Dame' by Friedrich Dürrenmatt. Thomas Müller, the director of the play, had adapted the play and integrated and East-German angle to the plot.

The played was staged in the Hub, DCU, Bristol University as part of the German theatre festival and in Players, TCD

THEATER 06: Dr Med Hiob Prätorius

The Play is a Sherlock Holmes crime-comedy about love, friendship and the use of a good sense of humor. The play was written by a German author and it will be performed in German with subtitles to be projected onto a screen. Holmes and Watson are investigating in a strange case - maybe an accident - maybe a murder crime, a young lady tries to kill herself, a medical professor (Prätorius) has to face a moral court which tries to decide whether or not he was and is acting according to the code of honor of his profession.
