Teach-a-thon 2005
Staff and students of the German Department organized a 24-hour teach-a-thon in aid of the victims of the Tsunami.
Students attended lectures, seminars and languages classes on the subject of natural desasters and the tsunami,they attended spoken German classses and watched German films. Students and staff organized individual sponsorship for their participation at the event and thus raised 6500 Euro.
The teach-a-thon was supported by Red Bull, Cafe Sol (Dawson Street) Nude (Wicklow Street), Superquinn (Blackrock) and Andrea's Bretzels and the Arts Block Coffee Dock, Trinity College.We would also like to thank the Security Staff in Trinity College, Arts Block.
