PEER LEARNING SYMPOSIUM:
DEVELOPING STUDENTS' SKILLS AND STRATEGIES
A one-day workshop for all interested parties to learn about how, where and why to establish, maintain and promote peer-learning in the third-level sector. This workshop will combine an introduction to the theoretical context, a summary of lessons learnt from first-hand experience in the TCD initiatives and practical collaborative activities where participants are grouped according to their academic or professional expertise.

11:00-11:50 Key Note on Background and Benefits of Peer Assisted Learning: Prof. Agnieszka Bron, Stockholm
12:00 - 1:15 Session I: The Experience of Introducing and Implementing a Peer Learning Programme
A series of short inputs followed by group exercises and discussion.
1:15 - 2:00 Lunch
2:00 - 3:30 Session II: Monitoring, Maintaining and Mainstreaming Peer Learning
A series of short inputs followed by group exercises and discussion.
3:30 - 4:00 Summary/Panel Discussion: Dr. Sarah Smyth
