ANCIENT DNA LABORATORY ADDRESS (for archaeological samples):

RESEARCH INTEREST:

My research interests are population and evolutionary genomics, and animal behaviour. My research focuses on the transition to animal husbandry in Europe, specifically in cattle and pig. Using genomic data from ancient samples and using modern samples as a reference. Ancient DNA analysis can help us shine light on this complex transition and interactions between incoming domesticates and their wild counterparts. Moreover, pinpointing what changes happened during this transition is crucial in understanding the movement towards modern livestock species. Particularly, trying to identify what genetic traits were selected for due to human intervention.
