The Trinity Access Programmes (TAP) has, since 1993, developed a continuum of educational projects to engage greater numbers of students from under-represented socio-economic groups in third level education. TAP's mission is to work in partnership across the education sector and with students, teachers, families, communities and businesses to widen access and participation at third level of under-represented socio-economic groups, ethnic minorities and Travellers. You can get involved:

  1. If you are an active member of the Students' Union , Clubs or Societies as these groups have all given invaluable assistance to TAP over the years and TAP is always very keen to hear your ideas, so please contact any TAP staff member.
  2. If you have entered college via the HEAR scheme, Foundation Course for Young Adults/Mature Students, or TCD/CDVEC partnership access courses, you could volunteer as a TAP ambassador and make a difference to the lives of others. The TAP Ambassadors Programme recruits, trains and rewards students for giving time to help run over twenty different TAP activities each year. TAP is now recruiting student ambassadors. For more information on this initiative, please contact TAP staff or Sarah Grimson ( ).
