Food Smart Dublin supports the development of capacity in the research system for interdisciplinary and challenge-based collaboration beyond academia. We have assembled a multidisciplinary team from the humanities, social and natural sciences. Our expert team consists of a historian, coastal biologist, marine ecologist and a social scientist.

Accessing the historical knowledge and ecological resources of the capital of an island nation in an innovative partnership with Niall Sabongi, a pioneering wholesaler and restaurateurs and ECO-UNESCO, Ireland’s Youth organisation we hope to advance a broader agenda for a food-smart Dublin.
