Recipes

In this section you find all the recipes we unearthed from the archives of the National Library and elsewhere that we as identified sustainable seafood and that our creative chefs reimagined in appetising ways.
We believe that @NiallSabongi, @briantopping4, @ciaracally, Muireann Mc Colgan, and Cian O'Leary have done an amazing job with those delicious dishes. They kept them simple enough so that they can be repeated at home with ordinary kitchen tools and basic cooking skills.

These twelve recipes are the flagship of the Food Smart Dublin project and will be available in book format including historical and ecological narratives of the organism's and how they are rooted in Irish hsitory.

We created a google map of fishmongers and seafood shops in and around Dublin where you can get your seafood for your recipe. This list is by no means exhaustive and if you can't find your local or favourite seafood shop here or you're a fishmonger who would like to be added, please get in touch and we will update our map.
Enjoy your seafood experience!
