We are ensuring social distancing is employed as per Government guidelines.

A working library since 1732, the Long Room is steeped in heritage and one of the most unique spaces in Ireland to host an exclusive event. Every corner of the 65 metre long library chamber is filled with history, with dark oak beams produced by generations of master craftsmen and books that are centuries old. One of the first things that hits visitors when entering the space is the smell of the ancient leather bound books, many of which are priceless artefacts.

What’s included?

Our team of expert event managers are available to support and advise you throughout your planning process for your Long Room event. Choose from a range of options for in-house refreshments, including canapés and wine receptions tailored to suit your needs. Live acoustic music is permitted, with arrangements such as choir singing, guitar and harp playing lending particularly well to the atmosphere of the space. A microphone and a podium is available for event speakers and parking is included for visiting dignitaries.
