AD - Olly and I had the pleasure of visiting The Book of Kells this afternoon after school. It's one of those gems in the city centre that we pass all the time but I had yet to bring the kids to visit. Watching Olly's reaction looking at the illuminated manuscript pages and his eye light up whe we walked into The Long Room, was priceless. It was honestly such a lovely way to spend the afternoon, followed by a treat in the Perch Café and some time spent exploring the beautiful Trinity Campus. Whether you're living in Dublin or planning a day trip this Summer, put the Book of Kells on your bucket list. To comply with covid regulations the exhibition is running at reduced capacity at the moment which makes it a wonderfully quiet time to visit.
