Trini-Screen Covid - Screening of Staff and Students for SARS-CoV-2 in Trinity College Dublin
For staff your line manager will be in touch to provide details on the research study – specifically, where you can obtain further information to include sample pack pick-up and drop-off points and advice on which day each week samples should be provided.
For students; if you decide to take part in the TriniScreen project, you will be asked to present and provide a saliva sample on a specified day each week which is broken down by house number and outlined below for Goldsmith Hall, Trinity Hall and Main Campus.
The consent form should be sent with your initial sample only, as this provides consent for multiple samples.
The consent form does not need to be sent with each additional sample. Please ensure the pre-printed student I.D. label is affixed to the sample collection tube. For any issues with labels please email residences@tcd.ie.
Goldsmith Hall
Samples must be submitted in the morning between the hours of 7am - 10am. The schedule for sample drop-off (in a container located beside the Security Office –Bubble) has been broken down by house number with a proportion allocated to certain weekdays as outlined below:
