Slainte: Would You Drink a Beer from 1574?

A launch and screening of a new film documenting the journey of brewing beer from the sixteenth century organised by the School of Histories and Humanities and the ERC funded FoodCult Project as part of the Trinity Arts & Humanities Research Festival 2023.
The documentary launch will be followed by a discussion with the Project leader, Susan Flavin, the film's director Shreepali Patel, and food historian Marc Meltonville along with a sampling of beer produced from Irish heritage grains by Maurice Deasy from Canvas Brewery.
