Making Empire and the After Lives of Empire in Ireland

Trinity Centre for Early Modern History Seminar Series is organizing a panel discussion chaired by Nicholas Canny (University of Galway) featuring Jane Ohlmeyer (TCD), Micheál Ó Siochrú (TCD), Ciaran O Neill (TCD) and Finola O'Kane (University College Dublin).
The panel discussion will be followed by the launch of Making Empire at 6pm.
The Trinity Centre for Early Modern History promotes understanding of the culture, society, economy, religion, politics and warfare of early modern Europe. The Centre organises seminars, conferences and public lectures on the early modern history of Ireland, Britain and Continental Europe, as well as on relations between European and non-European states and cultures.
