An 'in conversation' with Dr Clare Clarke (School of English) hosted by Professor Eve Patten, Director of the Trinity Long Room Hub. Dr Clarke will discuss her career and her latest publication, with a selected reading performed by a special guest.

About Dr Clare Clarke
Clare Clarke is Assistant Professor in Nineteenth Century Literature, specialising in crime and detective fiction. 
Her first book Late Victorian Crime Fiction in the Shadows of Sherlock was awarded the HRF Keating award in 2015. Her second monograph, British Detective Fiction, 1891-1901: The Successors to Sherlock Holmes was published by Palgrave Macmillan in July 2020.
