POSTPONED | Community and Outreach in Classical Music

Due to the evolving COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation this talk has been postponed and will occur this autumn in the coming academic term.

A talk by James Bingham (INO) organised by the Department of Music and the Music Composition Centre (TCD) in collaboration with the Irish National Opera.

Studio and outreach producer of Irish National Opera, James Bingham, has been described by the Sunday Times as ‘unashamedly messianic’ about classical music inclusion and accessibility. Having worked management and artistic roles in outreach and education department at organisations including Opera North and Glyndebourne, James will share his experience of working in community and outreach and the benefits that this work can bring to an organisation’s broader practice.
