Linguistic Lunch
Tuesday, 19 November 2019, 12:30 – 1:30pm
An event featuring postgraduate research in linguistics organised by the School of Linguistic, Speech and Communication Sciences.
The Linguistic Lunch series seeks to feature postgraduate researchers in the SLSCS working on any linguistic sub-discipline (applied linguistics, historical linguistics, neurolinguistics, deaf studies, etc.). We also welcome presentations from any postgraduate research student in other schools whose research includes issues dealing with language or linguistic analysis. Participants will give 11-minute lightning talks on their research in an informal and friendly environment.
Dates and Deadlines
The Michaelmas Term Seminar will take place on November 19.
The deadline for abstract submission is November 12.
More dates for Hilary Term Seminars will be announced soon.
For more information or if you are interested in participating, please get in touch with us by sending an email to linguisticsclunch@gmail.com or by finding us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter (@tcdlinglunch for all of them). Applications can be made through the following link:

All postgraduate students are welcome to attend the seminars. We encourage participants to speak about their research at any stage, even at the beginning stages of their project, as this is a great way to gain feedback and strengthen the postgraduate research community within the school.
