Monday, 26 February 2018, 6:30 – 8pm
A public lecture organised by the Trinity Centre for Asian Studies as part of the Dublin Chinese New Year Festival.
China is a leader in the renewable energy sector and pioneers in the global trend of energy transformation. Join Dr Heidi Ning Kang Wang-Kaeding in tracing the development of Chinese investment in the renewable energy sectors and provide an overview of policies in relation to energy transformation. The purpose is to make sense of drivers behind China’s expansion in renewable energy and to understand how this initiative from the national government is observed at sub-national levels.
