Berkeley Comparative Anti-Discrimination Study Group Conference

On 15-16 June 2017, the annual conference of the Berkeley Comparative Equality and Anti-Discrimination Study Group will take place at the Trinity Long Room Hub.
The Study Group, formed in 2012, brings together a global network of academics, legal practitioners, and rights activists with an interest in law and equality. Its annual meetings provide an opportunity for comparative reflection on cutting edge equality issues.
This year's meeting will consider topics such as the impact of Brexit and the Trump administration on anti-discrimination law; transgender equality rights; the impact of the UN Convention of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities; and religious diversity and anti-discrimination law.
