Tech Meets Arts for Science Week 2016: A public lecture by Dr Ahmed Selim (Research Fellow at CONNECT) organised by CONNECT Centre for Future Networks, Trinity College Dublin in association with the Department of History of Art and Architecture, Trinity College Dublin.
Dr Ahmed Selim has developed a remarkable technique capable of producing head portraits in the style of a given artist. Based on neural network computing, Dr Selim will explain the technology behind the technique, provide sample portraits and discuss further applications.
This event is taking place during Science Week 2016 and will explore the interface between arts and technology.
