On Thursday, 3 November 2016, award winning writer and journalist Dr Robert Fisk gave the 2016 Annual Edmund Burke Lecture which is supported by a generous endowment in honour of Padraic Fallon by his family.
Bio
Dr Fisk is an English writer and journalist from Maidstone, Kent, living in Beirut. He has been Middle East correspondent first for the London Times and then, since 1988, for The Independent. He lectures around the world and is the author of many books including The Great War for Civilisation, Pity the Nation and In Time of War. Dr Fisk holds his PhD and an honorary degree from Trinity College Dublin.
