Frank Rexroth

Professor Frank Rexroth joins us from the University of Göttingen in association with Trinity’s School of Histories and Humanities. Professor Rexroth is Chair of Medieval and Modern History at the University of Göttingen, and recently, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities. He is co-editor of the Historische Zeitschrift. As a Visiting Research Fellow at Trinity Long Room Hub Professor Rexroth is working on a research project titled “Towards a New Typology of ‘Higher’ Knowledge in the Twelfth Century: Scholasticism and the Emergence of Experts and Intellectuals” in collaboration with Professor Ruth Karras at the School of Histories and Humanities.
