Céline Thobois
Céline Thobois is an Irish Research Council funded PhD student at the Drama Department in the School of Creative Arts and a co-convener of the Samuel Beckett Reading Group at the Trinity Centre for Beckett Studies.
Her current research is looking at the relationship between the human, technology and the environment in Samuel Beckett’s drama through the prisms of behaviourism and neuroscience. She is also interested in new modes of reading and staging Beckett in the Anthropocene.
She holds a B.A. in English Studies (2014) and an M.A. in Anglo-Irish Studies (2016) from Lille III – Charles de Gaulle.
