Girl Code
This is an introduction event to coding for girls in 4th class with an interest in STEM, and Maths in particular.
The event includes a brief overview of women in technology, an introduction to coding using Scratch (an interactive coding platform specifically designed for children) and an opportunity for students to develop their own game in Scratch.
The aim of the event is to inspire girls to think about STEM activities as something that they can excel in.
