Trinity's Institutional Review (CINNTE)
Trinity's Institutional Review (CINNTE) will take place from the 18 - 22 October 2021.
QQI organises and oversees independent reviews of each of the Universities, the Institutes of Technology and RCSI. Each review is carried out by an international team of independent experts and peers, who review the institution's education and training provision to ensure that agreed quality standards are being met.
As well as reviewing the quality of education, training and research, the CINNTE review will look at how well each institution's internal quality assurance procedures are working and identify areas for improvements.
The findings from the institutional review will published in a CINNTE Review Report on the QQI website.
A number of supporting documents have been produced by QQI outlining the review process:
The review will provide an opportunity to showcase quality assurance and enhancement activity in Trinity through, for example, case studies of specific initiatives or events. A case study template has been developed, and colleagues who have a project/initiative that they think demonstrates how the plan-do-check-act cycle has been applied to quality initiatives or activities should contact the Quality Office for further details.
