The role of the Quality Office is to ensure that quality assurance and enhancement is integrated with institutional strategy and embedded in institutional culture and behaviours. Our objective is to both assure and enhance the quality and reputation of our education and research provision so that ‘quality’ is considered as a factor that attracts students and academics to study and work at Trinity.
We aim to achieve this by providing fit-for-purpose quality assurance tools and processes that engage staff, students and stakeholders; reduce duplication; and enhance system and data capability to evidence quality assurance and enhancement activity at local and institutional level.

The Quality Office is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Quality Assurance & Qualifications (Education & Training Act) Act 2012
, and associated quality assurance guidelines and policies. It assists in the translation of national and international good practice standards and guidelines, Government and professional bodies’ statutory and regulatory requirements and national and international qualification frameworks into policy and practice across programmes of education and research delivered in Trinity; validated by Trinity and delivered by other Higher Education Institutions nationally; or delivered under collaborative and transnational partnership arrangements nationally and internationally.
