Congratulations to Pierce O'Reilly, a former student on the MSc in Economics, and his co-author David Post, on winning the Brussels Forum Young Writers Award 2010.

The Brussels Forum is an annual high-level conference organized by the German Marshall Fund of the United States and its partners. With participants from 50 countries, the event focuses on transatlantic relations and brings together heads of state from around the world, including senior officials from EU institutions and member states, U.S. officials, Congressional representatives, and academics. The Brussels Forum Young Writers Award was presented by the Belgian Foreign Minister Steven Vanackere to Pierce O’Reilly and David Post for their essay on the future of the transatlantic relationship, New Institutions for a New World: The Transatlantic Alliance and the Future of the Global Economic Order.
