Biography
Dr Ning Jiang is Assistant Professor in Chinese Studies (Linguistics) and M.Phil Coordinator for the Trinity Centre for Asian Studies. She holds an M.Ed. and Ph.D. from Trinity College, a B.A. (Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language) from Shanghai University, and a B.Sc.(Applied Psychology) from East China Normal University. Her research interests include linguistics (e.g. psycholinguistics, second language acquisition and semantics), Chinese studies in culture (e.g. Chinese diaspora, cultural issues in new media) and translation studies (between English and Chinese).
