Green Day

Letters spelling have a green day on an open book on green lawn in front of campanileGreen Day was born out of conversations had by the Green Campus Programme, about inducting Freshers into sustainability initiatives at Trinity and wanting to harness the energy and drive that many Freshers have, coming from Green Flag Schools.

During Michaelmas term, Trinity’s Green Day helps to kick off the year with environmental consciousness in mind. Get involved with co-ordinating an event for next year by contacting one of the groups below with your ideas – the more eye-catching and zany the better!

Organised activities include everything from film viewings, to debates, to swap events, eco-tours of Trinity and celebrations with locally sourced foods!

Get in touch with your SU Environmental Officer and GSU Environmental Officer in order to get involved in planning and/or hosting an event for Green Day, or come to a Green Campus Programme meeting in September.
