Ordinarily the Election and Count are conducted in a defined venue on campus with all members of the electorate eligible to attend. The Chancellor and Pro-Chancellors and the candidates may also be present at the venue.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, for reasons of public health it has been decided to conduct the 2021 Provost Election by electronic means. Please click the following links for further information:

The election will take place on Saturday 10 April 2021. The name of the elected candidate will go to the Board for appointment on 21 April 2021, and the new Provost will take up office on 1 August 2021.

This indicative schedule is provided to assist members of the electorate with planning their time. However, the schedule is subject to change and you are strongly recommended to stay on the webinar on election day, with sound on, so that you can hear all announcements by the Registrar.
