The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences would like to invite applications for PhD to start in Sept 2017/March 2018. A number of awards are available:image

There is a Fellowship available under the Ussher scheme for new students (EU and nEU): https://www.tcd.ie/study/postgraduate/scholarships-funding/

There are three studentships available for new or continuing students under the 1252 scheme (EU and nEU):

Interested students should contact member(s) of staff in the School in the area of research interest - there is a wide array of potential projects including for example drug discovery and development, drug delivery and pharmaceutical technology, pharmacology and drug action, natural product research and clinical and pharmacy practice.

Interested students may review the webpages of individual academics and make contact directly. The Director of Teaching and Learning Postgraduate, Prof John Gilmer, can also take enquiries and help make connections. All interested applicants who have an unconditional offer from the School to do a PhD will be considered. The PhD application will be used to rank applicants for award allocation (there is not a separate application process for the awards). In the case of the 1252 awards, continuing students should contact the DTLPG directly. Decisions will be made internally in June.
