Each year we welcome around 12 students into our undergraduate degree course in Middle Eastern, Jewish and Islamic Civilisations. Our students come from a range of cultural backgrounds and there is no prerequisites for taking our modules. Our approach to the study of the Middle East and Jewish and Islamic Civilizations is historical and cultural. During the course of your four year programme you can choose (but are not required) to study a Middle Eastern language. We currently offer Arabic, Hebrew, and Turkish. You may also choose to spend a term or a year abroad in the Middle East, Europe or the USA.
