Denise Brennan graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2012 with a B.A. (Mod) in Molecular Medicine and in 2013 with a M.Sc. in Translational Oncology. Since then she has worked as a research assistant in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) investigating apoptosis-related proteins in colorectal cancer. Denise is currently a Ph.D. student in the TAGG group. She works under the supervision of Dr. Sinéad Smith and Prof. Deirdre McNamara. Her research investigates the rates of Helicobacter pylori resistance, with a view to developing new effective treatment strategies and improving H. pylori eradication rates.
