Dr. Julie Broderick (Ph.D.) was the recipient of a Health Research Board (Ireland) Clinical Fellowship in 2008. She also holds an honours degree (BSc.) in Physiotherapy, a Masters in Exercise Physiology (MSc.) and a Post-graduate Diploma in Statistics (H. Dip.) from Trinity College Dublin. She has a special interest in the application of research findings to individualise exercise prescription and optimise physiotherapy management during cancer treatment and into survivorship. She is also interested in the role of physical activity in other disease populations especially in the cardio-respiratory area and in mental illness. She was awarded a Cochrane Fellowship in 2014 to conduct an Overview in the area of Physical Health in Mental Illness.
