ESOF Dublin City of Science 2012

Physiology Event: “How do you measure up?”

Congratulations to 4 of our final year Physiology students; Clare Foley, Darren O’Gorman, James Condren and Louise Keogh.  Ably assisted by Dr Noreen Boyle, they ran an outreach event in the Science Gallery from 6th to 8th November as part of the ESOF 2012 Dublin City of Science event. The students set up a ‘pop-up’ physiology laboratory, where they took basic physiological measurements of visitors to the Science Gallery. The event, which was sponsored by the Physiological Society, was a great opportunity to promote Physiology to the general public, and proved to be very popular among visitors to the Gallery.
