Outreach
A key function of the Academic Unit of Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine is communication and dissemination of knowledge and research findings throughout academic, clinical and lay society.
Particular areas of interest include integrated clinical and academic approaches to sports / soft tissue injury and athlete care, regenerative medicine and tissue engineering as applied to orthopaedics and sports medicine, and the prevention of overuse sports injuries in children.
The Unit always welcomes making an educational contribution to institutes, organisations, teams, or individual practices interested in developing or delivering outreach activities in these or other related areas.
