Ewa Wilcz-Villega is Awarded a Visiting Scholarship to Stuttgart
Congratulations to Ewa Wilcz-Villega, a final year PhD student in Clinical Medicine, who was awarded funding for a ‘Short Term Scientific Mission’ to collaborate with lead researchers at the University of Hohenheim, Institute of Nutritional Medicine, Stuttgart, Germany for up to 3 months. Ewa, working with PI Maria O’Sullivan, is investigating the role of mast cells in gut-barrier function. This award is part of a European COST action programme and supports excellent early stage researchers in mobility and scientific exchanges. Ewa collaborates with PI Siobhan McClean in ITT and is a member of TAGG.
