Stevie the robot

The research group are actively involved in the development of robots to compete in @Home robot competitions. These competitions focus on the development of service robot technology that can autonomously perform tasks in real home environments. Additionally, the competitions facilitate state of the art benchmarking in robot perception and control.

Members of the team have taken part in two international @Home workshops (through RoCKIN project) in Rome and Peccioli respectively. In 2015, the team competed in the RoCKIN @Home competition in Lisbon.

The team are currently in the process of developing a robot to compete in the European Robotics League (ERL) @Home competition later in 2018.
