Trinity Education Project – Learning Spaces Forum

Co-chaired by the Bursar and Director of Strategic Innovation, Professor Veronica Campbell and the Librarian, Helen Shenton, this forum sought to gather and discuss perspectives on the nature of learning spaces in Trinity, including current challenges, enablers and examples of best practice locally and internationally. Karen Latimer, Medical & Healthcare Librarian, Queen’s University Belfast and Chair of the Steering Group of Designing Libraries, and Chair of the Standing Committee of the IFLA Library Buildings & Equipment Section joined the forum to provide a perspective on international best practice.
Grand Opening of Blackstone LaunchPad at Trinity

The Provost of Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin, Dr Patrick Prendergast presided over the official grand opening of Blackstone LaunchPad, joining representatives from Blackstone and the Trinity community. Blackstone LaunchPad,is a campus-based experiential entrepreneurship programme open to students, alumni, staff and faculty offering coaching, ideation and venture creation support. The Blackstone LaunchPad space in Trinity is housed in the Berkeley Library.
